Mommy of three little boys, currently 8, 9, & 10 years old. I am a happy and proud homeschooling mommy at home! :)

Proud wife to [info]one4k4 ~~ the Love of my life. No one could hope to find a better man than he ~~ my best friend dubbed him "Prince Charming" shortly after meeting him and she coudn't have been more right.

I enjoy making everything possible from scratch -- I make most of our own bread, peanut butter, jams, baked goods, etc. I dabble in wines made from the fresh fruit we pick in the summer months along with cordials and vinegars (not to mention all the fresh baked treats and canning). I enjoy making "fancy" cakes though I still struggle with them. I even started a small company a year or so ago where I made bath products from scratch in small batches to order - everything from lotion to bath bombs to bath salts to anything someone might dream up for themselves - that has since evolved into www.bathcake.com and is doing very well now :).

In October 2006, I was diagnosed with cancer. Its been a tough battle but one where we will be victorious. I say we because this truly takes a team and a village. I am very, very blessed with the best of both.

In May 2007, they added bone cancer to the diagnosis. Sort of. We've currently decided that I don't have it, though are pushing forward with treatment. In the fall of 2008, this diagnosis was confirmed. We continue to believe in our hearts that I do not have it and it will not get me. Of course we still pursue treatment.

I am on Support Services for the WFD and I enjoy the work very much. The fellowship is wonderful. The fund raising challenging. The helping on large scenes amazing. I wouldn't trade it for much.

I am the interim coordinator for the CCD program at our parish. It is one of the biggest challenges I've faced. I have over 100 kids and 21 teachers. This parish is my home and it is where I truly returned to God and Catholic life. I am eternally grateful for this place and these people and the patience Thomas showed in guiding me home.

I also enjoy playing many of the MMORG's if and when I have time. Since I was blessed with the idea and the customer base for Bath Cake (www.bathcake.com) I've not had much time for such things anymore.
